Elkhart fire crews respond to meth lab explosion

ELKHART — Fire crews in Elkhart rushed to the scene of a fire caused by a meth lab on Friday. It occurred at an apartment on Potawatomi Drive.
Michiana's News Channel reports that after crews arrived, one person was taken to the hospital suffering from burns.
Neighbors said they heard an explosion right before seeing the fire.
The Red Cross is currently helping those who have lost their belongings in the fire.
