Chickens, ducklings killed in barn fire near Bristol

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A 100-year-old barn near Bristol was destroyed in a fire Friday morning
Firefighters were called to the 19000 block of CR 8 Just before 10 a.m.
A horse that had been in the barn escaped without injury.
However, some chickens and ducklings died in the fire.
No injuries were reported.
The owner said the barn is 100 years old and she lost some personal items in the fire.
