Elkhart power restored after Sunday outage

ELKHART, Ind. -- Indiana Michigan Power restored all power Monday morning after a major outage Sunday.
Most of the 6,000 outages were reported around 8 p.m. on Sunday evening.
The lights came back on around 4 a.m. Monday.
An Indiana Michigan Power outage map said an "equipment failure" is a factor in the outages.
ABC57 News has reached out to Indiana Michigan Power to get a more specific answer to what caused the outages.
