ELKHART, Ind. -- An Elkhart man was nowhere to be found when Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes representatives were trying to award him a check for $10,000.
Vincent Ferro of Elkhart was eventually contacted by his significant other after their neighbor had reached out to let them know that sweepstake representatives were looking for the shocked winner at their home.
“I didn’t expect it. I saw it pop up on an instant win about a month and a half ago and nothing came of it so I just assumed I miss read it because you could win tokens or money,” said Ferro.
Ferro was at the local Walmart when representatives arrived at his door.
