Elkhart man arrested, charged with Possession of Child Pornography
ABC 57 ELKHART, Ind. -- The Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force announced they began an investigation in January 2024 following a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Police say this resulted in a search warrant being executed at a home in the 30000 block of Treva Street in Elkhart County on Oct. 31, 2024.
The report states several electronic devices were seized and forensically examined.
Following the examination of the devices, a report with the findings was submitted to the Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office for review.
On Thursday, Nov. 13, an arrest warrant was issued for 66-year-old Charles R. Keen III, of Elkhart, for 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, Level 5 Felonies.
Keen was taken into custody at his home on Friday, Nov. 14, without incident by troopers with the ISP Bremen Post.
He was taken to the Elkhart County Jail.
