Elkhart middle, high school students to do remote learning Friday

ELKHART, Ind. - Students in all Elkhart Community Schools middle and high schools will do remote learning on Friday because of illness impacting the corporation's bus drivers.

Students in the elementary schools will have in-person learning.

Transportation will be provided to elementary students.

The Elkhart Area Career Center will be open for in-person classes but transportation will not be provided.

Intense Intervention programs at North Side Middle School, Pierre Moran Middle School, Elkhart Freshman Division, and Elkhart High School will still be happening.

The Young Adult Program at the Elkhart Freshman Division will also be open for in-person classes.

Transportation will be available for students to and from the program.

The PACE program at the Hawthorne Early Learning Center will be in session but transportation will not be provided.

Head Start and Title I programs will not be in session.
