Elkhart Miracle flip season tickets on their head with new commemorative coin

ELKHART, Ind. -- The reigning Northern League champion Elkhart Miracle are looking to defend their crown on the field and make it easier for fans to attend games in the stands. Do to so, they are rolling out a commemorative coin that will serve as a season ticket to all 2025 home games.

"The Elkhart County Miracle have just the ticket to celebrate the 2024 Northern League Baseball Championship with its fans," the team said.

"A limited edition, 1-oz Silver Eagle emblazoned with the Miracle’s Northern League Championship design will be officially available online at the Miracle website starting June 21."

Team officials say the coin is the first of its kind in the industry and unique to organized baseball.

“As near as we can tell, no other team in the country is doing this. Not only is this an unbelievable opportunity to grab a valuable piece of history, it’s also a way for Miracle fans to see our games at no additional cost for the rest of the regular season and playoffs," said Miracle President Craig Wallin.

The team returns home to play the Vikings of Hammond this Saturday at 6 p.m.

"Area youth baseball players who come wearing their game jersey Sunday at 2 p.m. in the game against the Northwest Indiana Oilmen will be admitted free on FOP Day," a team spokesperson said.

Tickets are generally under $10 and can be purchased online or at the gate on the day of the game.
