Elkhart-owned golf course may close

ELKHART, Ind. -- A city-owned golf course may soon be closing in Elkhart.
Sims Oak Hills has been in business for more than 45 years.
On Monday, we talked with employees who said the city is looking to sell, or even close the golf course.
Right now, Elkhart is facing a budget deficit.
The course is on State Road 120 near Middlebury.
The city bought it back in 1965 for $1.
