Elkhart Parks & Rec. now accepting applications for summer employment
ELKHART, Ind.—The Elkhart Parks & Recreation Department is accepting applications for multiple summer employment positions.
The wages for available positions range from $10-$14 per hour.
The seasonal positions run from late May until mid August.
Positions available include lifeguard, aquatic facility manager, beach manager, swim lesson coordinator, lifeguard auditor, water safety/ swim lesson instructor, cashier/concessions/spray park attendant, day camp leader, tennis instructor, maintenance crew member and manager, and more.

Lifeguards must be Red Cross certified and any applicant under the age of 18 must have a valid work permit.
All positions require a background check, BMV check, and a pre-employment drug test.
Applications can be found on the city’s website or in the Parks & Recreation Office and must be completed and returned in person or mailed to:
