Elkhart PD welcomes eight new officers

ELKHART, Ind. – Mayor Tim Neese swore in eight new officers to the Elkhart Police Department on Monday.

The department’s new hires will attend Indiana law Enforcement Academy and then will return to Elkhart for field training.

The new Patrolmen are the following:

  • O’Brian Myers
  • Brian Davis
  • Scott Swanson
  • Emily Lamkin
  • Troy Gray
  • Landon Vargo
  • Ethan Taylor
  • Matthew Wilder

All of Elkhart’s new Patrolmen have graduated high school and college or served in the armed services.
