Elkhart Pizzeria donates to local homeless shelter

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Antonio’s Italian Ristoranta in Elkhart donated pizzas to help feed the homeless on Friday.

According to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth, the pizzeria donated 20 of their 18-inch pizzas to Faith Mission of Elkhart.

“They do so much for the community and for other people, and sometimes people forget about them. So we want to try to take a little burden off their plate today, since it is National Pizza weekend, by supplying them with some pizzas,” said Antonio’s owner Paul Cataldo.

The donations are a part of the Pizza across America program, with Faith Mission being the most recent charity to receive the annual donation of the pizzeria.
