Elkhart Police asking for help identifying theft suspect

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in a recent theft.
Police said the man in the surveillance photos is suspected of stealing items from a vehicle in the parking lot of the Amish Mall on September 16.
The man is described as a white male, heavy set, bald, wearing a blue shirt and dark colored shorts.
He was seen getting into a small blue pickup truck.
