Elkhart Police asking for help locating missing man

UPDATE 9/28/17 10:00 a.m.: The family says Daniel Ardelean has been found and is home safe.

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Police are asking for the public's help in locating 52-year-old Daniel Ardelean.

He was last seen on or about September 18 when he was staying with a family member.

He was reported missing on Saturday, September 23.

Ardelean is 5’9” tall, weighs 220 pounds, has gray hair and blue eyes.

Daniel was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark colored shirt and glasses.

Daniel lives in the Elkhart area but may have traveled to Aurora Illinois.

Daniel takes medication, but does not have it with him.
