Elkhart Police investigating a shooting on Main Street

ELKHART, Ind. – Elkhart Police were dispatched to 1226 S. Main Street Friday evening to investigate a shooting that injured one person.

Officers arrived on the scene and located a 25-year-old man who had been shot in the shoulder and leg, police said.

While investigating, police discovered damage to a home in the 1200 block of Eden Street.

Police located shell casings near the intersection of Eden Street and Aldridge Court, police said.

A possible suspect was described as a man driving a dark GMC Yukon.

No arrests have been made.
