ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Police were called to the 300 block of W. Indiana Avenue just before 10 a.m. Friday to investigate a shooting with injuries.

The victim told police he was walking in the area when he was shot.

He suffered a non-life threatening injury to the hand, police said.

Police located the scene in the 300 block of Chapman Avenue. During the search, police located a second suspect inside a home in the area.

He told police he was inside the residence when he heard a bang and discovered he had been shot in the leg.

His injury is non-life threatening.

Neither victim was able to provide a description of the suspected shooter.
