Elkhart Police investigating theft at Family Video

The Elkhart County Police Department is investigating the theft of cash from the cash register at the Family Video on S. Nappanee Street.
The theft happened on December 1 around 1:30 p.m.
An employee was assisting a customer in the store and was not at the register.
A man opened the register and removed cash from the drawer.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s wearing dark clothing.
