Elkhart Police investigating vehicle fire

Elkhart Police were called to the 2200 block of Cassopolis Street to investigate a vehicle fire around 11:30 p.m. Friday.

The caller told police a truck parked in the road of the complex was on fire.

Officers arrived and located the owner of the truck, who was not aware it had caught fire.

The owner said he parked it and went to visit someone.

Fire personnel told police they believed the fire was intentionally set.
