Elkhart Police officer in stable condition after crash

ELKHART, Ind. -- An Elkhart Police Officer who was seriously injured in a crash Wednesday night is in stable condition. Police identified the officer as Cpl. Leonard Dolshenko.
Police confirm Dolshenko was off duty when he was involved in the crash at 10:25 p.m. on Osolo Road and Woodland Estates Drive.
At the time, Dolshenko was driving a motorcycle. He was taken to Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
The female driver of the other vehicle is uninjured.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the crash.
