Elkhart Police release surveillance of robbery suspect

Elkhart Police are searching for a man who entered the Boost Mobile store on Friday morning and robbed the employees at gunpoint.

Elkhart Police said Friday, December 12 at 10:56 a.m. they were dispatched to 740 S. Main Street to investigate a robbery.

The witnesses told police the suspect entered the store, looked around, then showed a handgun and stole electronics and cash.

He then ran from the store.

The suspect is a black male, 28-35 years old, 6'0" to 6'3" tall, between 210 and 230 pounds, wearing blue jeans and a brown leather coat over a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.
