Elkhart Police search for suspects

Elkhart Police are looking for two men who they say were involved in a shooting that happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday on Benham Avenue.


The victim said she and her passengers got out of their vehicle at 1108 Benhan Avenue when two suspects shot at them.

The victim, 38-year-old Regina Coleman, was shot in her right buttocks.

She was taken to Elkhart General Hospital and released.

The two suspects were identified as black males in a gold station wagon.
