Elkhart Police searching for man who allegedly shot at woman in parked car

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind.—Elkhart Police are looking for a man who allegedly shot at a woman sitting in a parked car.

On March 15 around 4:37 p.m., officers were flagged down in the 1500 block of Franklin.

The victim told police that she heard several “bangs” while she was sitting in a parked car.

She stated that the suspect shot at both her and her car several times before running away.

The victim describes the suspect as a black male between the age of 18 and 21, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.

The victim was not injured in the incident but her 2006 Chevy Impala had three bullet holes in it, according to police.

The case is still under investigation.
