ELKHART, Ind. – Elkhart Public Library has partnered with Elkhart Noon Rotary Club for a book giveaway which will be hosted at Church Community Services on June 4.
They will give away one free age appropriate book to each child who is with family members picking up food from the CCS Food Pantry.
The books will be sorted into sections depending on the age of the reader: teens, middles grades, first chapter books, early readers and picture books.
Social distancing will be followed during distribution with canopies and multiple tables so those attending can choose their books without being in close contact with others.
Volunteers distributing the books will also be wearing masks and gloves.
The event will take place from 4 – 7 p.m.
Church Community Services is located at 907 Oakland Ave. Elkhart, IN 46516.
