Elkhart Schools get Patriot Award

ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart Area Career Center and School District received a prestigious award!
Warren Seegers has been working at the Career Center for 15 years. He's been in the Army Reserves for 14.
He nominated the Elkhart School District for the Patriot Award as a way to say "thank you" for bring supportive of his military duties.
"It was my way of letting them know that I appreciate the support and everything they do and that they allow me to leave for long periods of time and still come back," said Seegers, a teacher at EACC.
Seegers leaves next week for another 30-day training session.
