Elkhart townhouse goes up in flames

ELKHART, Ind. -- A townhome in Elkhart caught fire Thursday night around 10 p.m. It happened next to the Walnut Trails Apartment complex off of County Road 13.
Two people had to be rescued from the building, and everyone was able to get out safetly. ABC 57 was told the fire started on the outside of the townhome on the lower level near a vacent room.
Emergency crews said that eveyone who was displaced during the fire was able to return and sleep in their homes once the area was safe.
The fire department still investing what caused the fire.
