ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Saturday afternoon's storms caused two amphibious plane pilots to ride out the strong winds and rain on Riddles Lake in Lakeville!
Around 11:30 a.m. folks who live in Union Township called 9-1-1 when they saw one of the planes come down rather hard and tip on its side.
The family on board from Illinois says they were headed to Angola for a small fly-in show.
The owner says the floatation device broke on one side of the aircraft upon the hard landing.
