Emergency crews extinguish St. Joe County car fire

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- In St. Joseph County fire crews had to douse a car that caught on fire.
It happened around 8 Monday night on State Road 2 and Quince.
“We extinguished the fire pretty quickly and we have yet to find the owner,” said Cpt. Matt Willis of the Warren Township Fire Department. “The vehicle is not stolen at this time and the persons who were driving it took off down the street.”
The fire is still being investigated.
