Emergency crews pull vehicle, driver from St. Joseph River

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. - Emergency crews pulled a vehicle and its driver out of the St. Joseph River Thursday night after the driver lost control while driving, according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office.

At 7:21 p.m., deputies responded to the area of South River Road and Noah Lake Road for a vehicle in the river.

The St. Joseph County Dive and Rescue Team were called to the scene and rescued a 30-year-old Three Rivers man from the cold water.

According to the investigation, the driver lost control of the vehicle, ran off the road and into the river.

The driver was not injured in the incident.

A towing company successfully pulled the vehicle out of the water.
