SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- At John Adams High School, their national honors society hosted an 'Empower Women' fundraiser.
Fittingly, the event included a self-defense class and a thrift store, as well as a cafe, auction, and trivia.
Everything was done to raise money for women who need support in South Bend.
Saint Margaret's House is a local non-profit center that supports woman and children in need in the community.
