A slim chance of rain continues into the first half of Wednesday. Any rain is good but the area’s early drought conditions look to persist or worsen through the weekend as temperatures rise. Another chance of rain could come Thursday night but at this time looks to also be scattered. Heat and humidity build this weekend as high near 90 by Sunday.
