Parades and events are planned around Michiana on May 27 in honor of Memorial Day.

Berrien County

Niles Memorial Day Parade: Begins 9 a.m. at Main and 2nd and ends at Silverbook

Elkhart County

Goshen Memorial Day Observance: Ceremony at Rogers Park footbridge begins at 8:45 a.m., parade begins at 10:45 a.m. at Main and Jefferson, ending at Oakridge Cemetery where a wreath placement will take place

Bristol Memorial Day Service: Service begins at 10 a.m. at Oakridge Cemetery with a guest speaker to honor veterans lost at sea

Downtown Elkhart Memorial Day Parade: Begins at 2 p.m. on Harrison and Main and will end at Lexington and Waterfall

Middlebury Memorial Day Parade: Begins 10 a.m. at Main Street and ends at Memorial Park

Marshall County

Bremen Memorial Day Parade: Begins 10:30 a.m. at the Post Office and ends at Bremen Cemetery.

St. Joseph County

South Bend Westside Memorial Day Parade: Begins 8:15 a.m. parade at Ford and Lombardy, ends at Ford and Olive

Downtown Mishawaka Memorial Day Parade:  Begins at 9:30 a.m.

Osceola Memorial Day Parade: Begins at 8 a.m. at Lincolnway between Osceola Ave. and Oregon St. 

South Bend Cubs: For Military Appreciation Day, veterans and current military members can receive two free tickets to the game with a military I.D., which starts at at 2:05 p.m.

Back in the day,SB. used to have the best Parade.Then Mishawaka`s,when it ended at Jefferson.
