Ex-Indiana state representative busted for attempt to hire a prostitute

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- A former Indiana state representative is facing charges after he tried to hire a prostitute.
Police say Brian Hasler contacted a prostitute online and agreed to pay $160 for sex acts, but when Hasler went to meet her in person, the undercover police officer was waiting with a pair of handcuffs to arrest him.
Hasler currently works for Indiana State University. He's been charged with patronizing a prostitute.
