FAA to investigate Michigan plane crash

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- The FAA will now investigate a plane crash that happened June 6 in Van Buren County in Michigan.

The sheriff's office has confirmed that the FAA will take a look to see if any regulations were violated.

William Lawson, 72, made an emergency landing in a field near County Road 378 on June 5 after his engine failed.

After repairing the plane, Lawson crashed while trying to get it out. Lawson suffered only minor injuries.
