FACT investigating fatal pedestrian vs. vehicle crash

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - FACT is investigating a pedestrian vs. vehicle incident Saturday evening near the intersection of Main St. and Western Ave., in South Bend.
According to FACT, police responded to the incident around 6:10 p.m., involving a female pedestrian who was hit by the vehicle and died from her injuries.
The driver is cooperating with officials--neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor.
