SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The DeBartolo Performing Arts Center at Notre Dame welcomed families to watch a preview of a new kids show called Pheobe and Jay on Saturday.
The co-creator of Pheobe and Jay, Genie Deez, is a South Bend native and Notre Dame graduate, who happily came to South Bend for the premiere to talk to anyone about the show, get a signed autograph and participate in a discussion after the premiere.
The show is described as "Phoebe & Jay follows the adventures of curious six-year-old fraternal twins Phoebe and Jay Yarber as they explore the world around them. The series highlights the everyday texts preschoolers encounter, from signs and labels to posters and notes, helping young viewers build early literacy skills and confidence."
Phoebe and Jay will premiere on PBS on Feb. 2.
