Family helps raise money after fatal Niles car accident

NILES, Mich. — Dajuana Davis, 19, was killed after she lost control of her van and hit a tree in Cass County the first Wednesday of May.
Monday friends held a car wash in her honor in an effort to raise money for her family.
"We just want to show our love because she was loved," said Davis's aunt Debra Jones. "The whole community loved her. We are in pain right now. We are just trying to do something."
They were able to raise nearly $350 for Davis' family.
