Farm sprayer tips over after driving onto pickup truck
A farm equipment driver was cited after driving onto a vehicle stopped at a stop sign, according to the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department.
The sheriff's department received a call about the two vehicle accident Friday, just before 5 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a damaged pickup truck and a Miller Nitro Farm Sprayer on its side.
During the investigation, they determined the pickup truck had been stopped at a stop sign at 52nd Street and 24th Avenue.
The Miller Nitro Farm Sprayer turned onto 52nd Street, but cut the corner short and drove onto the hood of the pickup, according to deputies.
As the sprayer drove up onto the pickup, it tipped over onto its side.
The driver of the pickup was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the farm equipment was cited for failure to yield.
