Fatal accident on US 31 near US 6
PLYMOUTH, Ind. – Indiana State Police confirmed one fatality after a crash on US 31 near US 6 Sunday afternoon.
US 31 southbound is re-opened, according to ISP.
ISP Troopers said Alejandro Rodrigues Campos, 46, was driving southbound when he was sideswiped by a Jeep.
After the contact, the Jeep rolled which left the driver partially ejected. Police cannot confirm the number of times the vehicle rolled.
The Marshall County Coroner pronounced the driver of the Jeep at the scene.
Campos and his two passengers were not injured.
Officials do not believe alcohol or drugs are related to the crash.
ISP were assisted by Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Marshall County Coroner’s Office, North Township FD/EMS, and INDOT.
