Fatal car crash in St. Joseph County

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - A collision involving two vehicles occurred at Lincolnway and Bowles St..
The Fatal Crash Team was activated on October 6 around 7:45 p.m.
Twenty-year-old Ilgin Kayra Gultekin from Mishawaka was traveling eastbound on Lincolnway, attempting to pass a truck.
Gultekin was critically injured and transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The other driver is uninjured and is cooperating with investigators.
