Father, son rescued from Van Buren County lake

GENEVA TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Two men are recovering after falling through the ice of a Van Buren County lake Thursday morning.
Richard Abbott, 52, and Dean Abbott, 73, were rescued from Moon Lake in Geneva Township just after 8 a.m. The men told police they fell into the lake while attempting to ice fish.
Both men were taken to South Haven Hospital for hypothermia treatment.
