Sunny skies and warmer highs: quiet weather ahead
Today stays sunny and warm all afternoon and evening. The air quality alert remains in effect until tonight. Air is unhealthy for sensitive groups today in LaPorte, St. Joseph, and Elkhart counties, meaning that anyone with asthma should limit time outside.
Tonight will stay mostly clear and mild, with temps dropping to the low 60s. Some patchy fog may develop after 2 AM through the morning. Sunday will be hot again, with highs in the mid 80s. Models are showing a couple of isolated showers popping up during the afternoon. There is very limited moisture available, so an iso’d rain shower shouldn’t last long or ruin plans! We primarily dry through Monday, and rain will return on Tuesday with a cold front.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Patchy fog. Lows in the low 60s.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, PM isolated shower possible. high of 84.
Monday: Mostly sunny, high of 85.
Tuesday: Scattered showers and storms, high of 82.
