A small system brings a quick round of light now this morning followed by lake effect snow developing this afternoon. Little accumulation is expected from the system but it could make roads slick in spots. As the lake effect snow develops, areas closest to the lake could see 1-2” of snow with up to an inch possible for the rest of NW Michiana.
Lake effect snow comes to an end Tuesday morning with skies becoming partly cloudy after midday. Highs warm back into the low 40s Wednesday but clouds move back in. There is a chance for mixed and snow showers Wednesday evening as colder air starts dips into the region. This will cause falling temperatures throughout Thursday with lake effect snow developing.
Today: Mostly cloudy with morning snow showers, and then lake effect snow showers developing in the afternoon. High of 30.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy, lake effect snow, low of 16.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with L.E. snow showers ending. Highs near 30.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a chance for PM mix/snow. Highs in the low 40s.
