Few strong storms possible tonight, windy Sunday ahead

A round of strong to severe storms is possible tonight across Michiana. While most of the severe weather will stay to the south and west, there is still a risk that storms that do move through tonight could contain hail, high winds and heavy rain. An isolated tornado isn’t out of the question, either. Temperatures will fall through the 60s and 50s tonight.

Sunday looks windy and cooler with a chance of a few showers. Temperatures will fall through the 40s during the day Sunday. Winds gusts of 40-50 mph are possible before calmer conditions move in Sunday night. Quieter weather settles in for the work week. Highs will reach the middle 40s Monday and Tuesday with some breaks in the clouds expected. We should remain dry until Thursday, when a few April showers may come Michiana’s way.

Tonight: Rain and thunderstorms, some strong/severe. Low 48.

Sunday: Windy with a chance of showers. High 48 (temperatures falling through the 40s during the day).

Monday: Mostly to partly cloudy. High 46.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. High 45.
