SOUTH BEND, Ind – Notre Dame looking to capitalize in all areas of the game to beat Clemson but specifically, the defense.
Notre dame football looking to take down number four Clemson at home.
The last time they played at Notre Dame stadium, the Irish pulled off the upset in double overtime, 47-40.
The Irish have a hefty defensive rotation that’s allowed win games when the offense is facing a stout defense.
As freeman has said all season, the Irish are a defensive and offensive line driven team and the standard remains the same in week nine versus the undefeated Clemson Tigers.
“We want to be able to roll guys it's about keeping guys fresh, but we at the same point, it's also been about earning those opportunities in practice, and hey, who are the guys that have played well, but also have practiced well and who are the guys that we feel can give us the best opportunity to succeed and in different situations versus an offense too,” Freeman added.
Following the matchup against Clemson, Notre Dame has one home game left versus Boston College, so this could be a chance to right the ship after falling to both Marshall and Stanford at home.
Be sure to join ABC57 Kickoff, from 10:30 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, live from campus, counting you down to the big match-up.
