Fighting Irish player competes on world stage

A Fighting Irish guard is overseas right now in Russia playing in a 3 by 3 world championship tournament.
Jewell Loyd helped her team win the 3 by 3 national championship that sent them to the world stage.
Team USA played both Brazil and Hungary early Thursday morning taking away two wins.
Loyd scored 7 of the team's 21 points in the game against Brazil.
