Fire crews respond to barn fire in St. Joseph County

Fire crews responded to a barn fire in Madison Township Monday evening.
The fire happened in the 68000 block of Dogwood Road near Riley Road. The call came in around 2:30 p.m.
Ten different fire departments responded to the scene due to the size of the fire at the bar and weather conditions.
Sources say the barn is considered a total loss. Firefighters say one cow was in the barn at the time of the fire but got out safely.
