Officials investigating fire on Jackson Street in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A house fire started in South Bend late Thursday night in the 700 Block of Jackson.
When crews arrived to the scene, they saw flames coming from the back of the home and were able to quickly put them out.
No one was inside the home at the time of the incident.
Investigators think the home may be vacant.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
