Fire reported at Niles KFC

NILES, Mich. -

Firefighters from Niles responded to a fire at the KFC on S. 11th Street Monday afternoon around 1 p.m.

One of the deep fryers caught fire. The fire was contained to the deep fryer in the kitchen.

There were no injuries.

The restaurant will be closed until the kitchen is cleaned up and they are cleared by the health department to reopen.
