One person injured in fire at business in Niles

NILES, Mich. -- Firefighters responded to a fire at Toefco Engineering in the 1200 block of N. 14th Street around noon Thursday.
Niles City, Niles Township and Howard Township fire departments were called to the scene.
Employees were evacuated from the scene by a bus.
The fire was extinguished around 1:30 p.m.
A maintenance worker suffered a burn to the hand and was transported to the hospital.
The fire involved a machine and the was contained to just one area.
