SOUTH BEND, Ind. - South Bend firefighters are working to find the cause of a house fire that damaged a vacant home on the 800 block of Lasalle Avenue.
It started just after 8:00 Thursday morning in the basement of the home.
Fire crews extinguished the fire within minutes.
The scene cleared just after 9 a.m. Thursday.
