SOUTH BEND,Ind. -- Venue Parks & Arts hosted their first annual Sneaker Art Competition Thursday for middle and high school students who are enrolled in the South Bend School District.
Students had one hour to design a high top sneaker with supplies provided by VPA or their own supplies from home. The top 5 winners from each age group will earn a trip to the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis on August 16 to represent South Bend in a statewide art competition against students from Evansville and Indianapolis.
